It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Wilhelmsen (Thamesville, Ontario), who passed away on January 24, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Katherine Becker (Wohlfahrt) and Erwin Becker; and her siblings, Herman, Erika, Erwin and Marg.
She is survived by: her husband Odd; her sons, Rob Burnett (Erin) and Ken Burnett; her stepchildren, Trevor Wilhelmsen and Amanda Wilhelmsen; her grandchildren, Jasmine, Wilson and Carter; her stepgrandchildren, Cheyanne, Logan, Desiree, Andrew, Marcus and Liam; her siblings, Kurt (Faye) and Uve; and her pet Maggie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 113 (180 St George St N, Dresden, ON N0P 1M0).
