He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Andre Verstraete and Lena Verstraete (VanDaele); his wife Carol Verstraete (Manning); his children, Maurice Verstraete (Rachel) and Kelly Verstraete (Justice); and his sisters, Rose Haines, Brenda Burke-VanEvery Doug (John), June Nussey (Keith) and Mary Manning. He was also cherished by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home (211 Elm St W, Bothwell, ON N0P1C0). A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
