She was predeceased by: her parents, Osmon Barron and Florence Barron (Thibeault); her husband Edgar V. Vanrabaeys; and her siblings, Shirley Huckle (Roy) and William Barron (Doris).

She is survived by: her children, Ron, Bonnie Vanrabaeys, Brian, Diane Vanrabaeys, Tom, Laurie Vanrabaeys, Joanne, Rick Patterson, Gail and Jeff Denys; her grandchildren, Chad (Nikki), Ben (Melissa), Alison (Mark), Krista (Jason), Katie (Norm), Grant (Alyssa), Andrea (Nik), Alex, Jeff (Heather), Nicole (Darren), Tara, Jared, Janelle (Dave), Garth, Shaelyn and Dylan; and her brothers, James Barron (Monica) and Austin Barron (Michelle). She is also survived by 16 great –grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or the Thamesville Sertoma Club would be appreciated by the family.
