Though Eleanor may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Eleanor touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Tom Pollard; her son Tommy-Joe; her granddaughter Angel-Lauranne; her parents, Mae Ruth and Clarence Gresdal; and her siblings, Vivian Heinrich and Gary Gresdale.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Martin (Dean), Laurie Saarinen (Frank), Bonnie Boon (Stephen) and Richard Pollard; and her brother Don Gresdale (Kelly). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
