She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Cerson; her parents, Morris Swanson and Louise Swanson; her daughter Angela; her grandson Adam Cassidy; her in-laws, Roy Simms, Jack Laing, Leona McDonald (Jack), Carl Casemore and Bob Cronin; and her niece Lou Machan.

She is survived by: her children, Barry Cerson of Teeswater, Candy Cassidy (Keith) of Teeswater, Brad Cerson (Darren) of Windsor, Sherri Cerson (Candy) of Windsor and Kent Cerson (Becky) of Paris; her grandchildren, Jana Aitchison (Daryl), Ashley Dinsmore (Travis) and Jake Cerson; her great grandchildren, Myles, Max, Tessa, Hannah, Tyler, Tanner, Paisley, Blake and Charlie; her sisters, Gloria Mundy (Lloyd) of Waterloo and Karen Nelson (Graham) of Waterloo; and her sisters-in-law, Catherine Casemore of Wingham and Donna Cronin of Teeswater. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Tiffin Funeral Home (4 & Clinton St S, Teeswater, ON N0G2S0). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location.

Memorial donations to Teeswater Firefighters Association or Wingham & District Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care Unit) would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
