She was predeceased by: her husband Erwin Moessner; her parents, Friedrich Rupp and Elisabeth Rupp; her sisters, Gertrude and Paula; and her son-in-law John "Homer" DeRose.

She is survived by: her daughters, Ingrid Horst (Bill) of Milverton and Margaret DeRose of Culross Township; her grandchildren, Karen Pettapiece (Chris) of Atwood and Jeff Horst (Bonita) of Kitchener; her great grandchildren, Danica and Seth; and her brother Heinz Rupp of Germany. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
