He was predeceased by: his daughter Debbie Dwinnell; his parents, George Dwinnell and Mary Dwinnell; and his siblings, Charles "Chuck" Dwinnell, Dorothy Girard, Doris Arnott and Harry Dwinnell.

He is survived by: his wife Veronica "Joyce" Dwinnell; his daughter Cherie Hauck of Teeswater; his grandchildren, Amy, Julie, Melanie, James Lamont, Erin, Angela and Brooke Hauck; his great grandchildren, Michelle, Emily, Paul, Joseph, Colin, Anthony, Isaah, Jordan, Theodore, Sullivan, Addison and Paige; and his sister-in-law Jenny Dwinnell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
