He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Nicholson and Verna Nicholson. He is survived by: his children, Tyler Nicholson and Sarah Goguen of St. Thomas; his grandchildren, Jack, Archer and Sayler; his siblings, Donna Johnstone, Tom Nicholson, Ron Nicholson, Ray Nicholson, Lorraine Clark, Mary Passmore and Allan Nicholson; his stepchildren, Melissa McRae, Marc McRae and Melanie Potter; and also Kathleen Dhillon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
