He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Lamont and Irene Lamont; his siblings, Marjorie Hill (Ron), Betty Clark and Bud Lamont; and his in-laws, Gladys Zettler, Donald Elphick (Diane), Robert Elphick (Norma), Carol Lamont and Sharon Hauck.

He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Lamont; and his children, Kim Dent (Jim), Linda Lamont, Susan Riley (Ken), Bud Lamont (Stephanie), Dale Lamont (Natasha), Dawn Schiestel (Ken) and Scott Lamont. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Salem United Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
