He is survived by: his spouse Calogera; his children, Angela Facchin (Paolo), Maria Pannunzio (Marco), Pietro Sassano and Lea Sassano; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Massimo, Vanessa, Carmine, Vincenzo, Giuseppe, Bianca and Matteo; and his siblings, Franco Sassano and Filippo Sassano.
