He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Dr. Hoda W. Hanna; his children, Salma Hanna, Mona Shahid and Naguib Shahid; his grandchild Rowan; his siblings, Yvonne, Salwa and Nuha; and his nieces and nephews, Marie, Mario and Nadra.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Medecins Sans Frontiers/Doctors Without Borders.
