Evelyn (formerly Storie, nee Calvert) Carter Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn (formerly Storie, nee Calvert) Carter of Tecumseh, Ontario, who passed away on March 16, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Jack Storie; her husband Jim Carter; her sister Hazel Kirk; and her daughter-in-law Donna Storie. She is survived by: her children, Bill Storie (Carol Gagnon), Tim Storie, Bob Storie (Debbie) and Mickey Turner (Barry); her grandchildren, Jason Storie (Stacey), Brenda Storie-Davis (late Marlon), Kim Harcus-McLaughlin (Chris), Guy Harcus, Ashley Storie-Markus (Ian), Hayley Storie and Vanessa Storie; her great grandchildren, Brittney, Tyler, Mikeal, Kayle, Ethan, Ava, Nolan, Morgan and Claire; her great great grandchildren, Jacob, Rhealynne and Karter; her friend Ev Morrison; and also Debbie Taylor-Storie (Laurie).

A special thank you goes to the wonderful staff of Extendicare Tecumseh, especially Oldcastle House who went above and beyond expectations during these very difficult times. **Due to the current COVID restrictions, visitation is by appointment only.
