She was predeceased by: her parents, Sebastian Mink and Ava Mink; and her brother Josef Mink. She is survived by: her son Karl Schmidt (Pam) of Tavistock; her grandsons, David Schmidt of Montreal and Jeffery Schmidt (Angela Groot-Nibbelink) of Guelph; her great grandchildren, Vivian and Sophia Schmidt; and her sister Irma Kysly (Mink).
