He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Smith; his brother Graham Smith (Donalda); and his brother-in-law Wallace McClintic. He is survived by: his children, Liz Neumann (Bob Horton) and Stephen Smith; his granddaughter Celina Bowman-Smith; and his sister Yvonne McClintic.
