It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Allen King of Tavistock, Ontario, who passed away on August 28, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Allen King to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his brother Malcolm King; his sister-in-law Lorraine King; and his parents, A. Gordon King and Hazel Jane (Jean). He is survived by: his wife Agnes King; his children, Ruth Duncan (David), Donna Berg (Rob), Nancy McNeice (Gord) and Rob King (Erika); his grandchildren, Sarah Brenneman (Nathan), Kevin King (Candice Brooks), Dan Wettlaufer (Ashlee), Lyndsay Woodward (Michael), Ian McNeice, Chris McNeice, Graeme McNeice, Devon King, Greydon King and Ashlee King; his siblings-in-law, Leone and Douglas Sutor of Guelph; and his nieces, Carolyn Rumble (Dave) and Margaret Van Dyk (Ken). He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.

His contributions to community was also recognized in 2014, when John received the Hickson Lions Club "Citizen of The Year" Award.
