He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Wittig and Alma Wittig (Schaefer); his son Craig Wittig; his wives, Laurel Hall and Barbara Betts; and his brother Donald Wittig.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Janice Ballantyne; his children, Kirk (Lea), Guy (Miriam), Trudy-Lyn Rice (Ron) and Brad (Jenn); his stepchildren, Richard Clarke, Jamie Clarke and Angie Clarke (Joe); his grandchildren, Abby Lee (Ian), Christine Ballantyne (Paul), Chad Wittig-Rice, Neil Wittig-Rice, Lane Wittig-Rice, Candice Wittig, Mitzi Podann (Doug), Tina Small (Jim), Jaxon Wittig, Justin Clarke, Stella Jan Clarke, Jevin Clarke, Joey Clarke and Mick Clarke; his great grandchildren, Adam, Alyssa, Jessica, Leena, Nolan, Eliana and Remy; and his sister-in-law Marjorie Wittig. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Canada or Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth through the funeral home.
