He was predeceased by: his parent Percy Pletsch; his siblings, Ronald Pletsch, Harold Pletsch, Clarence Pletsch and Helen Gregory; his brothers-in-law, Stan Gregory and Bruce Dolson; and his nephew Larry Sandick.

He is survived by: his parent Henrietta Pletsch (Wilhelm); his siblings, Clifford Pletsch and Louise Dolson of Milton; and also Tavistock.
