It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Aevon Whalen (Tamworth, Ontario), who passed away on August 1, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Aevon Whalen to show support.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stafford and Mary; his brothers, John, Jimmy, Ford, Ronnie and Harold; his brothers-in-law, Clair and Francis Kearns; and his grandson Brandon.
He is survived by: his wife Doris; his children, Gwen Babcock (Mike), Len (Pat McNichols), Terry (Kate Hambrook), Mae (Tim Sheffield), Trina Kelly (Brian), Clair (Michele) and Shelley Gallipeau (Ken); his great grandchildren, Adan, Alyssa, Alexandra, Ford, Rhys, Lane, Mack, Bennett and Theo; his siblings, Danny (Linda), Glen (Freda) and Shirley Kearns; and his sisters-in-law, Wilma Kearns and Joan Whalen.
The family will receive friends at the HANNAH FUNERAL HOME in Tamworth (613-379-2997) on Tuesday, August 3 from 3:00 – 6:00 p. m. (Masks are mandatory) A private family mass will be held at St. Anthony's of Padua Church in Centreville on Wednesday with interment at the St. Anthony's Parish Cemetery.
Memorial donations made (by cheque please) to St. Anthony's Cemetery or The John M. Parrott Centre (in recognition of their loving care) would be appreciated by the family.
