He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Kerry Lee-Ann Giddy; his parents, Hilda Giddy and Glen Giddy; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Phillip (Sarah), Conner (Laura) and Angeline De Sousa; his great grandchild Kiley; his siblings, David Giddy (late Martha), Karen Ellerbeck (Bill), Peter Giddy (Janet), Cindy Giddy, Terry Giddy (Paula), Glen Giddy (Carol), Susan Coombs (Richard) and Debbie Giddy; and his friend Linda Wright. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations to the Kingston Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
