He was predeceased by: his grandchild Sutton; his parents, Michael Grainger and Irene Grainger (Gallo); his siblings, Carmel Grainger, Alice Jaquith (late Paul), Margaret Stout (late Gordon) and Andrew Grainger; and his brothers-in-law, Gerry Noonan, Michael Kelly (late Eldene) and Philippe D'Eon.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Kelly (Doug), Mark and Stephen (Tamara); and his grandsons, Lucas and Nathan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
