He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Johnston and Helen Johnston (Elliott); and his brother Emery Johnston (Arlene). He is survived by: his spouse Lois Johnston (Teeple); his children, Vicky Johnston (Louie Azzolini) and James (Wanda); his grandchildren, Alex, Russel Johnston, Christian and Linnea Azzolini; his brother Gary Johnston (Alice); his nephews, Greg and Mark; and his niece Tammy Johnston.
