He was predeceased by: his siblings, Arthur, Eva, Elva, Ester, Carl and Ruth.

He is survived by: his wife Doreen; his children, Barry Lance (Sandra) and Tammy Lance (Robert); his grandsons, Calvin and Andrew; his sibling Clare (Doreen); and his siblings-in-law, Joan (Jack), Marion (Richard) and Carolyn (late Allan). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
