He was predeceased by: his daughter Elizabeth Lafreniere. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Phinney; and his children, Marilyn Dixon (Tim), Carolyn Mills, Mary Phinney and Randy Phinney. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
