She was predeceased by: her husband Everett Parkes; her daughter Lois Parkes; her daughter-in-law Laurie Parkes; and her siblings, Ted, Marion, Shirley, Barry and Allan.
She is survived by: her children, Betty McLaren (Keith), Steve Parkes (Debbie), Kevin Parkes (Aileen) and Rick Parkes (Brenda); her grandchildren, Cindy (Gerry), Jeff (Kathy), Kim (Remi), Jennifer (Allan), Brad (Courtney), Adam (Trista), Neil (Kate), Jim, Kristen (Steven), Joe (Mallory), Andrew (Christine) and Holly (Dan); and her siblings-in-law, Francis Boyes and Bob Petrie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
