She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Schmeler and Ida Schmeler; and her siblings, Ben, Rosie, Mabel and Eva.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Bekesi; her daughter Janet Carlsen; her grandchildren, Rakel Carlsen (David) and Robert Bekesi; her great grandchild Leora Gray; and her siblings, Violet McHugh, Henry Schmeler (late Barbara) and David Schmeler (Jean).
