He was predeceased by: his brothers, Jack Minor and Wally Minor; and his parents, Albert Minor and Bessie Minor. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Minor; his children, David Minor (Karen), Kevin Minor (Tera), Jeffery Minor (Alicia), Trisha Morgan (Dan), Keira and Lucy; his siblings, Janet McLaren-Heise and Jim Minor (Joanne); and his sibling-in-law Pamela Minor.
