He was predeceased by: his children, Lois Alpine and Paul Gill; and his siblings, Mitchell, Vertle, Gary, Russell, Patsy and Shirley.

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his grandchildren, Ryan, Nash, Jaxon and Kennedy; his sister Rosie; and his daughter-in-law Jennifer. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins.
