With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlene Coates of Sunderland, Ontario, who passed away on November 2, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Neil Rainey and Marion Rainey; her husband Leonard Coates of Sunderland; and her brothers, Carl Rainey and Milton Rainey.

She is survived by: her son Ken (Jenny); her granddaughters, Courtney (Josh), Mary and Hannah; her great grandchildren, Jimmy, Artie, Sammy, Nora and Elaina; and her brother Charles Rainey.
