She was predeceased by: her parents, Zenon Blanchard and Helen Blanchard. She is survived by: her sons, David Kohut (Marlene), Michael Kohut and Robert Kohut (late Christine); and her sibling Sadly. She is also survived by 20 brothers and sisters, many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the R. J. Barnard Chapel (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the R. J. Barnard Chapel at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1).
