William John Oatway Obituary

We bid farewell to William John Oatway (Sudbury, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 25, 2024 at the age of 81. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Louis (Walter Louis) and Lewis Oatway; and his brothers, Lewis Oatway (Rita) and Bill Oatway (Lori). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Oatway; his children, Jennifer Walsh, Lewis Oatway (Stephanie) and Peter Oatway (Aprillyn Donaldson); his grandchildren, Laura Whalen (David), Julia Walsh, Emma Walsh, Nicholas Oatway, Minah Oatway, Liam Oatway and Carly Oatway; his great grandchild Jay Whalen; and his siblings, Judy Oatway and Richard Oatway (Shelaugh). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the R. J. Barnard Chapel (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1).
