She was predeceased by: her close friend Russell Turgeon; her parents, Wilhelm Janssen and Gertrude Janssen; and her sister Helma Meincke (Otto). She is survived by: her husband Werner Widder; her children, Werner (Kathleen), Maureen Arnold (Mark) and Sandra Van Clieaf (late Robin); her grandchildren, Adam Widder (Ashley), Ryan Widder (Stephanie), Chris Kearney, Amanda Snyder (Bobby), Lukas Arnold (Brittney), Matthew Van Clieaf (Cassidy) and Benjamin Van Clieaf; her great grandchildren, Arianna, Alivia, Arya, Kien, Teagan, Sawyer and Georgia; and her sibling Willi Janssen (Anna).
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the R. J. Barnard Chapel (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1).
