She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Gilbert; her parents, Alfred Thibeault and Josephine Thibeault (Sanfrancisco); her siblings, Josephine Lavallee and Louis Thibeault; her brother-in-law Roland Lavallee; her siblings, Eva Bujold (Gilles), Leo Thibeault (Reggie), Alfred Thibeault (Gisele), Emily Fournier (Marc) and Melina Thibeault (Gilles); her sister-in-law Carolle Thibeault; her stepsons, Brent, Darren and John; and her aunt Jeanine. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
