Sally Maki Chouza Obituary

The passing of Sally Maki Chouza (Sudbury, Ontario) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 11, 2025 at the age of 86. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albin Manninen (Nancy) and Lempi Manninen; her siblings, Lila Ranta (late Andrew) and Kauko Manninen (late Sheila); her brother-in-law Pete Pedersen; and also, Vi Pedersen, Elmer Manninen (Astrid), Maila Eccles (Percy), Alec Manninen (Seija) and Richard Manninen (Arlene).

She is survived by: her husband Tony Chouza; her children, Janice Groulx (Norman), Eric Maki (Lisa) and Calvin Maki (Rosemary); her daughter-in-law Gina McAfee; and her nephew Grant Eccles. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Beaver Lake Sports and Cultural Club.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Northern Cancer Foundation and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
