He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Nadjiwon and Ann Nadjiwon; and his parents-in-law, Allan and Meg Steele. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Nadjiwon (Steele); his daughters, Leanne Urso (Rich) and Lisa Schiller (Chris); his grandchildren, Adam, Matthew, Hannah and Gwen; and his siblings, Charles, Brian (Cathy), Lynne Donnelly (late Barry), Janice Puddy (Michael), Susan Ferrans (Dan) and Michael (Lianne). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or Diabetes Canada.
