He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold LaPlante and Dorothy Reid; and his brother Alan. He is survived by: his wife Angela LaPlante (Vesel); his grandchildren, Owen, Rachel, Aiden and Ethan; and his siblings, Brian, Joseph and Maureen Farr.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Maison McCulloch Hospice, Sudbury.
