He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgette L'Heureux and Armand L'Heureux; and his brother Lucien L'Heureux Jacqueline Pinard. He is survived by: his sister Georgette Potvin (Fern); his wife Diane Leveiller of Sudbury; his stepchildren, Marc Leveiller (Louise) and Carmen Massicotte (Mike); his grandchildren, Ryan Leveiller and Jade Leveiller; his great grandchild Wrenn Leveiller; and his nieces and nephews, Luc L'Heureux, Colette Bujold (Allain), Claudette Taillefer (Don), Jeannine L'Heureux, Lise L'Heureux Desjardins (Marc), Carole Junor (Rod) and Richard Potvin Jr. (Belinda).
