He was predeceased by: his sister Melanie; his parents, Frances Dempsey (Hoddy) and Alfred Dempsey; and his siblings, Dorothy (Frank), Tom, Rosie (Paul) and Nancy.
He is survived by: his wife Gisele Dempsey (Demers); his daughter Laurie "Bear" (Lee); his nephew Darren; his siblings, Donna (late Doug), Barbara (late Roger), Sandra (Tom) and Kenny (Darlene); his siblings-in-law, Lise Demers, Luc Demers (Debbie), Diane Mikus, Francine Demers, Lucie Bisson (Andre), Guy Demers (Joanne), Helene Milad and Denis Demers (Sheryl); his granddaughter Dani Lee; and his pets, Kolby, Chubby, Hershey, Barney, Frosty, Tiffany, Lady, Goldie, Chopper, Dinah and Billy Boy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
