He was predeceased by: his parents, Giovanni Battista Bussolaro and Antonia Zilio; and his siblings, Rino, Saverio, Odilla, Luisa, Raffaelle and Angelo.

He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, Robert (Diane) and Nadia (Terry Boileau); his grandchildren, Mathew Keturi, Nicole Keturi (Kyle Luciw), Alec and Michela Bussolaro; and also Dulio.
