He was predeceased by: his wife Jeannine "Jean" Tang; his parents, George Tang and Mary Tang; and his siblings, Mildred, Beatrice, Margaret, Lorette, Florence, Howard and Lorne.

He is survived by: his children, Brenda (Norm), Norman Jr. and Jaime; his sons-in-law, Norm and Frank; his grandchildren, Ashley (Sam), Stéphanie (Kyle) and Jessica (Dave); his son Ethan "Edan"; his great grandchildren, Cohen, Connor, Victor and Olivia; and his siblings, Allan, Karl, Elanor, Victor and Wanda. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, as well as many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
