Neda Zega Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Neda Zega (Sudbury, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 27, 2025 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Neda Zega to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Giulia Bellini and Rudolfo Bellini; and her siblings, Rose Bellini, Bruno Bellini (Gina) and Lena Bellini.
She is survived by: her husband Alberto Zega; her children, Linda (Nicola), Carol (Brian) and Laurie (Felix); her grandchildren, Christian (Gen), Mauro (Sarah), Chiara (PJ), Sydney, Bisnonna, Amelia, Christianna and Lorenzo; and her sister Bruna Bellini. She is also survived by her family, aunts and uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lougheed Funeral Home (252 Regent St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3C4C8). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Hope Church (591 Brennan Rd, Greater Sudbury, ON P3C 5L6).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society (Sudbury Chapter) or the Maison McCulloch Hospice.
