She was predeceased by: her daughter Carolyn Racette; and her parents, John French and Dorothy French. She is survived by: her husband Cyril Verch; her children, Kimberly Babij, Sheila Goudreau (Edwin), David Verch (Deb) and Shelly Verch; her grandchildren, Adam (Katie), Steven (Jessica), Tyler (Amanda), Andrew (Victoria), Sara and Belinda; her great grandchildren, Ben, Emma, Avery, Cara-Lynn and Ethan; and her sister Dorothy Papineau (Gilles).

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
