She was predeceased by: her grandchild Lee Visockas; her parents, Janko Basar and Magda Basar (Rozic); and her siblings, Frances Puljak, Eva Bakin, Pavla Mihalic, Matta Basar and Guida Basar.
She is survived by: her husband Franjo "Frank" Bede; her children, Josie (Bede) and Michael Bede (late Lillian Joly); her grandson Kirk Visockas (Marcy Lafortune); and her great grandchild Victoria Visockas.
