It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lillian Eva Lavoie in Sudbury, Ontario, born in Mattawa, Ontario, who passed away on September 26, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Dupuis and Rosalie Dupuis; her husband Don; and her siblings, Lionel, Réginald, Roger, Emile, Conrad, Victor, Bernice (Lamothe), Edna (Nadon), Rollande (Bélanger) and Geraldine (Nadon).
She is survived by: her children, Marc (Pauline) of Hampton, Roland (Lise Dutrisac) of Sudbury, Richard (Johane) of Sudbury, Lee-Anne McGregor (Kevin) of Ottawa and Danny Lavoie (Céline) of Ottawa; her sister Suzanne McArthur (Jamie Jamieson) of Sudbury; and her great grandchildren, Sophie, Nadine, Lesia, Annabelle and Carter. She is also survived by her children, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM at the St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church (231 2nd St, Mattawa, ON P0H1V0).
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.
