He was predeceased by: his sibling Olavi (Leo). He is survived by: his spouse Ritva Asiala; his children, Jouko, Tarja and Asko (Natashia); his grandchildren, Stefan (Andrea), Tommy (Amanda), Kaela (Brenden), Brian, Nikolas and Hannah; his great grandchildren, Louie, Gracie, Cameron, Ainsley and Madelyn; and his siblings, Hilkka, Liisa (Leena) and Paavo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
