Judith Ann McDowell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Judith Ann McDowell (Sudbury, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 21, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Judith departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Judith may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Judith leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vane Webb and Julia (Middlemiss) of Sault Ste. She is survived by: her husband Nelson McDowell; her son Nathan McDowell of Sudbury; and her siblings, James Webb (Maureen) of Sault Ste and Marie. She is also survived by numerous brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 10:20 AM. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Ascension (1476 Sparks St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3A2E1).
In lieu of flowers donations to Church of The Ascension or Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated. Donations are being accepted for: Church of the Ascension HEALTH SCIENCES NORTH FOUNDATION (Health Sciences North Foundation).
