He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Hayward and Patricia Thompson; his granddaughter Leona; and his siblings, Lousie and Brian (Joanne).

He is survived by: his wife Ginette Hayward; his children, Dale, Holly and Wendy; his grandchildren, Tate, Tilton, Brooklyn and Braxton; his great grandchildren, Koda and Emma; and his siblings, Helen (Peter), Mary (Mike), Frank, Clifford (Benda) and Patti-Ann (late Carl).
