John Gordon Matte Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Gordon Matte (Sudbury, Ontario), who passed away on August 22, 2024, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Carlyn Matte; and his father-in-law Ed Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Natalie Stewart Matte; his father Jack Matte; his mother-in-law Janet Stewart; his children, Kassandra (Alex), Cassidy (Jean-Yves) and Curtis (Miranda); his siblings, Janice (Chris), Jennifer (Ron) and Peter (Denise); and his sisters-in-law, Kimmie, Debbie (John) and Corrie (Joe). He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Maison McCullough Hospice, in memory of John Gordon Matte.
