She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond McKay; her parents, Llewellyn Honess and Lila Honess; and her siblings, Calvin Honess (Margaret), Ken Honess (Bessie), Jessie Bell (Floyd), Blanche Purvis (Blair) and Mary Bond (Willis).

She is survived by: her children, Kathy Landriault (Todd), Larry McKay (Pam), Marilyn Burrell (Lester) and Diane Staalstra (Tony); and her sister Helen McColeman (late Dalton).

Though the past few years were a struggle as Alzheimer's slowly took her from us, she never lost her radiant smile, gentle kindness, and the warmth that defined her.
