She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Martha Tiitto and Helge Tiitto; her spouse Vernen Pakkala; her sons, Erik (Kim) and Paul Salmenmaki (Kate) of Port Moody, B. C; her granddaughters, Clara and Violet Salmenmaki; her stepchildren, Letitia, Fred Pakkala and Josée Arsenault (Joel); her stepgrandchild Sienna; and her sibling-in-law Elli Aijanako of Finland.
