He was predeceased by: his parents, Primo Simon and Luigia Simon; his siblings, Vanda Gregoris (late Nello) and Giacomo (Francesca); and his brother-in-law Luciano Buttazzoni.
He is survived by: his wife Elvia (Buttazzoni); his children, Lisa Smith (Tom), Steve (Jen), Karen Tognarelli (Stefano) and David (Melissa); his grandchildren, Owen Smith, Nico Simon, Christian Tognarelli, Carter Smith, Hudson Tognarelli, Costa Simon, Violet Simon and Olive Simon; and his sister-in-law Patricia.
